HopeForAll grew out of a school sponsorship project, SchoolForAll,which was started in September 2001. This was in response to the need we saw around us for education to be available to all children. Most people in the village in which we were living, Sabi, and the surrounding villages, did not send their children to school because they were unable to afford it or did not see it as a priority.

Since then the project has grown to sponsor children at all levels of education, and we have also been involved in practically helping the schools in which we are involved, eg with the provision of libraries, books, furniture, teachers' accommodation and various supplies for the schools and children.

We have also undertaken other projects in the areas of health and water provision. In 2008 HopeForAll was formed, to encompass all of our community development efforts – SchoolForAll, HealthForAll and WaterForAll. In April 2008 we became a project of Micah's Call International (UK registered charity number 116897), giving us charitable status in the UK.
